C. E. and Lillie Fae Holloway

In January of 1949 not long after earning his funeral director and embalmer's license, C.E. Holloway and his wife, Lillie Fae, left their hometown of Farmersville, Texas to move south to Hillsboro. Waiting for them there was the firm where they would spend the rest of their careers. Louie Marshall could not have known back then that this young couple would be the leaders to carry Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors into the next century. Although semi-retired today, C.E. and Lillie Fae still take an active role in the guidance of the firm they have been with for over 50 years.

During World War II, C.E. saw combat duty in the South Pacific with the Navy. He has been a member of the Hillsboro Lions Club for over 50 years, having previously served as club president. He is also a member of the Hillsboro Masonic Lodge and was active for many years with the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce. C.E. continues to assist with funerals from time to time to give him an opportunity to see old friends and renew relationships with families he has served in the past.

The couple are members of the First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro where both have been active through the years on various committees and church programs. They have enjoyed traveling in recent years as they have been able to take more time for leisure.

MARSHALL & MARSHALL CEMETERY SERVICES

Marshall & Marshall is one of only a few funeral firms that maintain full-time staff to provide cemetery services for the families we serve. By doing this, we are able to maintain complete supervision of those entrusted to our care from the first call until services are completely concluded.

The crew:
Candelario Rea

A native of Mexico, Candelario came to Texas in the mid 1970s settling in Central Texas. He and his wife, Alejandra live in Hillsboro where his family has relocated. With Marshall & Marshall since 1984, Candelario works to insure that the same care that is provided by our staff at the funeral home is extended to the graveside and every detail there is properly attended.
Ciriaco O. Rea

Also born in Mexico, Ciriaco joined our staff in 1987, teaming up with his brother Candelario. He lives in Hillsboro with his wife, Catalina, and is active in Iglesia Bautista Emanuel where he serves as a deacon. Ciriaco's conscientious care to make certain that each gravesite is appropriately cared for helps to maintain the reputation that Marshall & Marshall has earned through the years.
Raul E. Rea

Another member of the Rea family, Raul moved to Hillsboro in the early 90s from his home in Lagunillas, Mexico. In 1994, after being recruited by his uncles, Cande and Ciriaco, he joined the Cemetery Services staff at Marshall & Marshall. Together, these men enable Marshall & Marshall to ensure that no detail goes unattended in providing the most comprehensive level of service in the Hill and Bosque County area.
