A. Alderson Jr

A. G. was born on August 20, 1922 in Mt. Calm, the son of the late Aaron and Cornelia Graves Alderson. He served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. On September 5, 1970, he married Margie Meissenheimer in Fort Worth and she preceded him in death in 2001. He was a heavy equipment operator for Cullum Construction, retiring in 1985. An avid traveler he was also a member of the American Legion Post #522 in Whitney, VJAY1-VU1 Squadron in Pearl Harbor and the Local 178 operating engineers. He loved his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren very much. Also preceding him in death were his daughter, Jeannie Alderson in 1966, son, Johnny Alderson in 1971, daughter, Sharon Davis in 1988 and daughter Cheryl Davis in 2009. Survivors include his children, Suzanne Wright and husband Ricci of Waxahachie, Henry Alderson and wife, Susie of Whitney, Angel Bakos and husband Denny of Plano, David Alderson of Whitney, Debbie Leatherwood and husband Howard of Weatherford, Pam Dority and husband Doug of Azle; sister, Margaret Drewry of Ganada; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
