Adelaide Whalen

Adelaide was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Agar Becker. She grew up in New York and married Preston Whalen, Jr. on February 28, 1948 and he preceded her in death on March 28, 1995. Preston and she lived in New York until moving to Whitney in 1974. As a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, she volunteered for many years. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, William Whalen. Mrs. Whalen is survived by children: Mary Krueger of Prattsville, New York; Virginia Jordan of Williston, New York; and Preston Whalen of Mansfield; sister Ann Hoffmann of Chandler, Arizona; grandchildren: Michael Bevil, Jill Tognelli, Raven Whalen, Summer Whalen, Dylan Whalen, Irelyn Whalen and Four great-grandchildren.
