Adron Tekell

Adron Tekell, 78, of Bynum died Saturday, December 24, 2005 at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Adron was born January 21, 1927 in Wingate, Texas the son of Newton and Ruby Ivy Tekell. He grew up in Hill County. On January 3, 1948 he married Reva Jo Patterson. He served in the U. S. Air Force. For all of his adult life he farmed and ranched in the Brandon/Bynum area. He was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Hillsboro, where he served as a Deacon and past Sunday school superintendent. Survivors include his wife, Jo Tekell of Bynum; three sons, Ricky Tekell and wife, Mary Dawn, of Weatherford, David Tekell and wife, Aimee, of Smithfield, UT, and Ronny Tekell and wife, Amanda, of Bullard; four brothers, Harold Tekell and wife, Jean, of Hillsboro, Melvin Tekell and wife, Faye, of Hillsboro, Charles Tekell and wife, Becky, of Itasca, and Jerry Tekell of Italy; two sisters, Joyce Boyd and husband, Zippy, of Hillsboro and Dorothy Duncan of Hillsboro; six grandchildren, Chanse Tekell, Haley Tekell, Kaylin Tekell, Emily Tekell, Justin Tekell, and Les Jensen.
