Agnes Rape

Agnes L. Rape, 93, of Burleson passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, in Ft. Worth. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2017, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Danny Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow at Peoria Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service time at the funeral home.

Born April 18, 1924 in Hill County Texas, she was the daughter of B.W. and Mona Bell (Lowe) Wood. She grew up on a farm in the Woodbury community and later moved to Tarrant County. On November 26, 1946, she was united in marriage to Earl Dean Rape and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2004.

During her working years, she worked for Williamson Dickey in downtown Ft. Worth and later, when her children got a little older and began to leave home, she worked for Everman ISD in the cafeteria.

Agnes enjoyed gardening, crocheting, making quilts, cooking, and baking cookies with the grandchildren. She also really enjoyed sitting in the floor with her grandchildren and playing games.

Also preceding her in death were her parents and 10 siblings.

Survivors include her children, Bobby Dean Rape and wife, Myra of Grandbury, Danny Earl Rape and wife, Cathy of Hurst, and LaDonna Jean Williamson and husband, Geral of Ft. Worth; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
