Al Alexander


Al was the son of Jack and Effie Loyd Alexander. For 10 years, he served in the U.S. Navy and married Lynn Gardner on April 8, 1966. Lynn and Al moved to Whitney in August of 1990 where he owned and operated Alexander Plumbing. Not only a Master electrician and plumber, he was also a Lay Pastor at the Open Range Cowboy Church and a member of the Whitney Chamber of Commerce. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Alexander of Whitney; his mother, Effie Alexander of Abilene; children: Jason Alexander and wife, Jeanette of Whitney; Annette Grumbles and husband, Rick of Waxahachie; Angie Watson and husband, Bob of Montgomery, Il. and Faith Alexander of Whitney; brother, Gary Alexander of Abilene and sister, Jackie Glover of Abilene; and six grandchildren.
