With great sadness, our family announces the passing of our dad, Albert Murray
Cargile. Through serving in the Marine Corps, law enforcement, the church, and
his family, Al’s servant heart never tired of helping others. His 87 years were filled
with fishing trips, working on his land, watching his teams (the Longhorns and the
Rangers) and sharing food and fellowship with those he loved. He had a knack for
perfectly timed witty comments and a soft spot in his heart for the littlest
additions to the family. While he will be sorely missed, we rest in the knowledge
that he left us to go join his wife Wanda in Heaven and rejoice that they are
together again.
He is survived by daughters Teresa Fulton and husband, Robert of Colleyville,
Paula Hamilton and husband, Don of Haslet, son, Jon Cargile of Dallas,
granddaughters Erin Leonard and husband Brian, Carin Charon and husband Erich,
Lacey Pumphrey, grandsons, Jace Hamilton and wife Deana, Gary Hamilton and
great-grandchildren, Morgan, Marissa, Slade, Lane, Grace, Amyrlin, Parker, Lyla,
Bailey, Lance, Troy, Luke and Levi.
