Alan James Stokes, 22, of Houston, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, May 20, 2013. Mass for Alan will be at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of the Lake Episcopal Church, 658 Highway 22, Laguna Park, on Saturday, May 25, 2013. A “Celebration and Remembrance of Alan’s Life” will be held immediately following the service at the church reception hall. Dinner, snacks and cold beverages will be provided.
Alan was a vibrant and charming young man, full of life who lit up a room with his gorgeous smile, baby blue eyes and grandiose personality. He was a great force to be reckoned with here on earth and will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and many loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Evelyn and Kenneth Kienzle; great aunts Carol Ann Stepp, Theresa Lynn Ponewash, Mary Jo McGuire, Kathy Kienzle and great-uncle Kenneth L. Kienzle, Jr.; and paternal grandmother, Nancy Jean Branham.
Alan leaves behind loving and devoted mother, Kellie Harris and step-father Myron R. Harris, Jr.; sisters, Tehya, Ariel and Bonnie Harris; brother, Myron Harris, III; nephew Caden Harris and nieces Bayleigh and Elexis Chitwood; his devoted and loving grandparents and caretakers, Nancy and James Green; girlfriend and mother of his unborn baby, Shelby Najvar; Granny Ruth Eisenhower, uncle Michael Green and wife Robbin; cousins, Mykia Beal, Stormie and Michael Green, Jr; great-uncle Tony Kienzle and wife Denise; uncle Phil and aunt Melissa Buffa. He is also survived by his father, Craig Alan Stokes, brother Jonathan Stokes, step-grandfather Tommy Branham, uncle Shane Stokes and aunt Dawn Branham; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other loved ones.
