Albert Junior Pruett of Whitney joined the Lord Wednesday, August 18, 2010. He was born February 26, 1931 in Cement, Oklahoma to the late William ?Bill and Clara Turner Pruett. Although he pursued a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors, Al was a gifted contractor and most enjoyed using his carpentry skills. Al is survived by his wife and light of his life for almost 25 years, Connie; four daughters, Luanne Donaldson of Belton, Debbie Head and husband Keith of Maybank, Toni Conklin and husband Chris of Austin, and Alison of Whitney; two brothers, Johnny Pruett of Edmond, OK and Bobby Pruett of Star City, AR; four sisters, Helen Bracken and Jo Frisby of Star City, AR, and Shirley Johnston and Darlene Turnbow of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren and nine great -grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his Rangers buddy George and ?Lula?; and countless friends and loved ones. His son Danny Pruett and brother J. D. Pruett, along with his parents and many friends, greeted him in Heaven. He was a loving husband, father and brother, compassionate friend and employer, charmer of many, and wonderful man. His spirit lives on and always will.
