Alexander Perez

Alexander Perez, 93, of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, surrounded by family.  He was born March 17, 1928, to Hippelito and Hilaria (Garcia) Perez in Hillsboro, Texas.  A memorial service is scheduled at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Alexander worked more than twenty-five years for the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1982.  He enjoyed lawn mowing, gathering pecans, anything outdoors.  Alexander loved dancing to Latino music and traveling with his family.  Their travels took them to San Antonio, neighboring states, Michigan, and Canada.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Juan Perez, Clemente Perez and Hippelito Perez, and sister, Sally Reyes.  Survivors include his wife, Pat Perez; children Linda Rodriguez, Edna Lara and husband Richard, Jr., Alex Lee Perez and wife Angela; grandchildren, Amber Mancinas, and Justin Le Lara; great-grandchildren, Dominic Lara, Mandy Cox, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Alexander Perez, 93, of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, surrounded by family.  He was born March 17, 1928, to Hippelito and Hilaria (Garcia) Perez in Hillsboro, Texas.  A memorial service is pending with Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
