Alice Ridlehuber

Alice Ridlehuber, 81, of Hillsboro died Friday, February 2, 2007, at her home with her children by her side. Alice was born February 6, 1925 to Staley and Grace Mathis Goodman in the Mayfield Community of Hill County. She grew up in Hill County and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1944. On January 19, 1944 she married Homer Wesley Ridlehuber and he preceded her in death. She was a devoted mother, homemaker, and worked for 8 years as a store greeter at Wal-Mart in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Richard Douglas Goodman and Ed Goodman. Survivors include her four children, Hoyte Ridlehuber and wife, Deneice, of Sherman, Betty Cheatham and husband, Ronnie, of Temple, Peggy Pharris and husband, Jerry of Grand Prairie, and Harold Ridlehuber of Waco; one brother, Billy Ray Goodman of Carrollton; three sisters, Virginia Thomas, Ruth Mayo, and Doris Brown all of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
