Allen Carl Manske

Allen Carl Manske, a faithful man, husband to Shirley Ann Hancock, patriot, veteran of the US Army, and proud third generation farmer passed away in peace July 9, 2022. A service honoring the life of Allen Carl Manske will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, July 23, 2022, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Malone, Texas. Visitation will take place prior to the service at 11:00 am.

Born February 14, 1929, to Paul and Olga (Muesse) Manske, he grew up in Malone, Texas and attended the Savage School. At the age of twenty-two, Allen enlisted in the Army where he attained the rank of Sergeant. As part of this service from 1951 to 1952, he served in Korea and received the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, along with a UN Service Medal.

Allen married Shirley Ann Hancock, November 1, 1958. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by his three children; Susan Norwood and her husband Daniel, Janet Cleary, and Michael Manske; five grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Malone, Texas.
