Alma White

Alma Lois White, 69, of Burleson, died Friday, October 14, 2005, in a Burleson hospital. Alma was born May 3, 1936 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Leslie Allen and Annie Mae Wood, were she was raised. She was a member of Trinity Temple Church in Fort Worth. She was a retired nurse. On Feb. 17, 1961 she married James White and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a son, Harold White. She was a greatly loved woman with lots of friends and co-workers. She will be deeply missed. Survivors include two daughters, Debby Kelley and husband, Pat, of Crowley and Julie Cryer and husband, Dave, of Burleson; four grandchildren, Susan Castellon, Cory Castellon, Jonathan Smith, and Kennith Smith; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Tommie Zahorick; two brothers, Leslie Wood and Harry Wood; and a sister in Christ, Jo Rust.
