Alta Rosenbaum

Alta Beatrice Rosenbaum, 96, of Waco died Thursday, February 15, 2007, at Jeffrey Place Nursing Home in Waco. Alta was born November 30, 1910 in Hillsboro, Texas the daughter of William Arthur and Jenny Browning Bailey. On September 1, 1928 she married Floyd Rosenbaum and he preceded her in death on November 18, 1991. While living in Spokane, Washington, she worked for Safeway. She then moved back to Hillsboro and later moved to Waco. Alta was an excellent seamstress. She was a member of Lakeshore Church of Christ in Waco. Also preceding her in death were her parents and her son, William Thomas Rosenbaum, on September 13, 2003. Survivors include her brother, Lemuel Arthur Bailey of Waco; three grandsons, Steve Rosenbaum of Dallas, Scott Rosenbaum of Waco, and Bryant Rosenbaum of Houston; and two nephews, Sam Tom Golden and Bill Golden both of Waco.
