Amy Munoz

Amy Handy Munoz, 33, of Pasadena passed away Sunday August 7, 2011 in Houston. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor Priscilla Fuentes officiating. Burial will follow at Itasca Cemetery in Itasca. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Amy was born November 12, 1977 in Hillsboro, where she grew up. In 2000 she married Samuel Munoz. She worked in sales and loved music, singing, and being with people.

Preceding her in death was her paternal grandfather, Jessie Handy.

Survivors include her husband, Samuel (Rocky) Munoz of Pasadena; father, Henry Handy and wife, Jill, of Mexia; mother, Rose Handy of Itasca; maternal grandparents, Lupe and Josephine Solis of Itasca; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Handy of Hillsboro; two children, Micha Munoz and Taylor Toscano both of Pasadena; two brothers, Amos Handy of San Antonio and Adam Handy of Itasca; and many aunts and uncles.
