Amy Ramos

Amy was born September 13, 1937 in Hill County, Texas. She lived in Hillsboro all of her life. Her husband, Cruz Ramos, preceded her in death on December 7, 1982. She enjoyed quilting and sewing for her family. Her life revolved around her family and her house was full of family pictures. Also preceding her in death was her mother, Juanita Estrada. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Survivors include three children, Antonio Ramos and fiancee, Sherry Wingate, of Hillsboro, Billy Ramos of Hillsboro, and Kathy Roden and husband, Mark, of Hillsboro; five brothers, Robert Estrada of Houston, Pete Estrada of Hillsboro, Bart Estrada of Hewitt, Thomas Estrada of Hillsboro, and Theodore Estrada of Huntsville; one sister, Rosa Lopez of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Greg Roden, Adam Roden, and Jaime Roden, all of Hillsboro; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and many friends.
