Andrew Castanon

Andrew Castanon, 55, was called home to eternal rest on Monday morning February 28, 2011.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Noon at Bethlehem Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Booth officiating. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9-11 a.m. at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Andrew was born on December 20, 1955 to Andrew and Tomaso Garcia Castanon at Waco, Texas. He was employed at Barrons Auto in Whitney.

He was preceded in death by his birth parents; his adoptive father, Robert Kenneth Sellars; his brothers, Steve Felan and Samuel Castanon.

He is survived by his adoptive mother, Blanche Sellars; sisters, Loise Valverde of Slaton, Angelina Felan of Whitney, Maria Castanon of Uvalde, Francisca Ramirez of Vernon; brothers, Amado Garcia Of Minnesota, Jose Castanon of Oklahoma, Manuel Ortega of California; sons, Zackary McLain of Dallas, Joshua Castanon of Manassas, Virginia; daughter, Tonya Davis of Dallas and by an extended loving family including many nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Joe Rodriquez, Raul Castanon, George Castanon, Jesse Ramirez and Arcdio Lopez.
