Angelica & Michelle Villegas

Angelica Maria Villegas, 34, and Michelle Faith Villegas, 11, both of Hillsboro passed away Friday, December 19, 2014, in Mexico. Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 26, 2014, with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro with Father Ouseph Thekkumthala officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Angelica was born October 13, 1980 in Chalchihuites, Mexico to Efrain and Angelica (Gurrola) Castaneda. In 1999, she graduated from Hillsboro High School. For over 5 years, she worked as an insurance clerk at Family Diagnostic Medical Center in Hillsboro. A very kind, caring, and generous person, Angelica’s family was first in her life and she cared for them deeply. She was of the Catholic faith.

Michelle was born November 6, 2003 in Hillsboro to Ernesto and Angelica (Castaneda) Villegas. She was currently a fifth grade student at Hillsboro Intermediate School. An avid animal lover, Michelle especially loved riding her horses. She also enjoyed playing softball and soccer. She was definitely her Daddy’s Girl. She was of the Catholic faith.

Angelica is survived by her husband, Ernesto Villegas, of Hillsboro; parents, Efrain and Angelica Castaneda of Hillsboro; son, Ernesto Villegas, Jr. of Hillsboro; two brothers, Yovan and Ricardo Castaneda both of Hillsboro; sister, Lucero Castaneda of Hillsboro; two grandmothers, Sebastiana Gurrola of Chalchihuites, Mexico and Socorro Castaneda of San Antonio, Mexico; and in-laws, Antonio and Maria Villegas of Hillsboro.

Michelle is survived by her father, Ernesto Villegas, of Hillsboro; brother, Ernesto Villegas, Jr. of Hillsboro; grandparents, Efrain and Angelica Castaneda and Antonio and Maria Villegas, all of Hillsboro; two great-grandmothers, Sebastiana Gurrola of Chalchihuites, Mexico and Socorro Castaneda of San Antonio, Mexico; aunt, Lucero Castaneda of Hillsboro; and two uncles, Yovan and Ricardo Castaneda, both of Hillsboro.
