Anita Gail Clark, 60, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at her residence. Anita was born, April 23, 1946 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Howard David and Zinda Violet Turner Clark. As a small child, she moved to Hurst and graduated from L. D. Bell High School. For a few years, she worked as a dispatcher for the Dallas Police Department. She was free spirited and fun loving. Anita enjoyed beading and making jewelry. She was a devoted animal lover, especially of dogs, and was always vocal in her desire to see animals treated well. Survivors include her father, Howard Clark of Watauga; sons, Cris Hogan and wife, LaDonna, of Grand Junction, CO and Paul Southerland and wife, Saundra, of North Richland Hills; sister, Paula Yeathermon of Arlington; grandchildren, Garrett and Natalie Southerland; niece, Corey Yeathermon; and nephew, Tyler Yeathermon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local No Kill Animal Shelter.
