Ann Radykowski

Ann Y. Radykowski, 71, of Whitney passed away on April 4, 2006 at her residence. She was the daughter of Allen and Yvonne Garcia Ortte. On February 5, 1955 she married Richard Radykowski in Tucson, AZ where they lived for 1 year. They then moved to New Orleans, LA for 10 years, Houston, TX for 5 years and Fort Worth, TX for 27 years before moving to Whitney, TX in 1997. Ann liked to travel, visit and play at casinos in Las Vegas and Shreveport. During the past 30 years, Ann was a foster parent to 134 children. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Survivors include her husband, Richard of Whitney; children, Julie Ann Stephens and husband, Bruce of Arlington, Danny Radykowski of Slidell, LA, Ann Marie Comer and husband, Scott of Arlington, Stephanie Ann Radykowski of Whitney; sister, Bonnie Jean Thompson of Carlson City, NV; grandchildren, Elizabeth Stephens, David Stephens, Brooke Comer, Austin Comer and Peyton Comer.
