Anna Barnes Beseda, 92, of Hillsboro died Sunday, Cctober 7, 2007 in Hillsboro. Anna was born August 27, 1915 in Snowball, Arkansas the daughter of Corbin Elijah and Mattie Jane Tipton Barnes. At a young age she left Arkansas and lived in Texas most of her life. On July 7, 1940 she married Frank Edward Beseda in West and he preceded her in death on September 14, 1989. She was a hard worker helping her husband with the cattle, raising food in her garden, and canning the produce. For many years she made her own clothes and loved to sew and crochet. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Also preceding her in death were her parents; three children, Floyd Campbell, Ernestine Hughes, and Kevin Campbell; 10 siblings, Emma Drewry, J. D. Barnes, C. W. Barnes, Parker Barnes, John "Burn'em up" Barnes, Woodrow Barnes, Ranna Kirk, Issac Washington, Arbie Pautsky, and Virgil Barnes; and a grandson, Ronald Gordon Lee. Survivors include two step-children, Frankie Beseda and wife, Delores, of Estacado, Oregon, and their children, Dean, Sandy, and Vicky; and Willie Mae Linex of Corsicana and her children, Dale Lee, Michael Don Lee, and Deborah Elaine Lee Garrett; many great and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends who were family to her, Gary and Sissy McClung and their children, Grover Kemp and his family, Kerrie Kolacek, and Flo Pustejovsky. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1311 North New Road, Waco, TX 76710.
