Anna Frank Marsh

Anna Ruth Frank Marsh, 93, of Whitney passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney. Officiating will be Rev. Colton Yarbro of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memory. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the funeral home.

Anna was born on November 24, 1922 in the Huron Community in Hill county to the late Ben and Myrtle (Connolly) Frank. She lived all of her life in Hill county near the Huron Community. She graduated Blum High School. On August 2, 1942 she married Charles Marsh and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1992. Anna worked on the farm along side her husband and when not helping with the farm she was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, gardening and was an excellent cook. She was a life long member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were 2 brothers, Connolly Frank, Kendell (Shorty) Frank; 3 sisters. Oleta Epps, Audrey Faulkner and Virginia Scott.

Survivors include children, Beth Triplett and husband, Preston of Tyler, Garry Marsh and wife, Diane of Maypearl; grandchildren, Angela Powers and husband, Jake of Whitney, Lisa Silas and husband, Tony of Whitney, Robyn Rutledge and husband, Dustin of Maypearl, Greg Marsh and wife, Rebecca of Arlington; great-grandchildren, Mary Beth Powers and Allison Powers of Whitney, Kirk Silas and Anna Silas of Whitney, Reeselyn Marsh of Arlington; sister Grace Scott of Blum, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
