Annette Penn

Annette Penn, 73 of Whitney passed away on January 23, 2011 at Town Hall Estates in Whitney.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Town Hall Estates Chapel in Whitney with Rev. Griff Griffith officiating.

Annette was born on August 30, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas; the daughter of the late John Raymond and Floye Margaret Wilson Bast. On May 8, 1955 she married Arthur Ray Penn in Weatherford.

She loved to travel, working with children and an avid reader. She enjoyed watching game shows especially Jeopardy and was able to answer all the trivia questions.

Annette had worked as an LVN for Town Hall Estates and retired in 1982. She was a member of Fort Graham Baptist Church and the Rebecca Lodge in Whitney.

Survivors include her husband, A.R. Buddy Penn of Whitney; children, Richard Penn and wife Diane of Wichita, Kansas, Brenda Blair and husband Warren of Mesquite; six grandchildren, Jeremy Penn and wife, Holly of Houston, Amber Wedel of Wichita, Kansas, Brian Penn and wife Andrea of Sedgwick, Kansas, Damon Wedel of Wichita, Kansas, Jonathon Blair of Mesquite, Grace Blair of Mesquite; four great grandchildren, Gabraille Wedel of Wichita, Kansas, Abagale Penn of Sedgwick, Kansas, Drew Penn of Houston, Emily Penn of Sedgwick, Kansas.
