Athalee Martin, 94, of Granbury passed away on February 20, 2009 in Granbury. Athalee was born November 9, 1914 to Ed and Irene Correna Gray Frazier. She married Jesse E. Martin on November 18, 1933. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 29, 1978, her son Jesse R. Martin on September 15, 2001 and an infant son. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Emelee and Larry Hoyle of Granbury, grandson and wife Brian and Nicole Hoyle of Longview, grandson and wife Jason and Adria Hoyle of Mansfield, granddaughter and husband Tammie and Brett Dunn of Canton, grandson and wife Chad and Suann Martin of Dakota Dunes, S.D., great-granddaughters Megan Hoyle, Katee Hoyle, and Taylor Hoyle, great-grandsons Jake Dunn, Bobby Hoyle, Logan Martin , and Chase Martin, sister and husband Pete and Hooper Sanders of Georgetown, sister-in-law Avonne Frazier of Hillsboro, and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was born in Hill County where she lived until 1976, when she moved to Mansfield. She was a faithful Christian and worker in the First United Methodist Churches of Brandon and Mansfield. She moved to Granbury in 2002, where she was a member of the Granbury Church of Christ. She has influenced many lives and will be missed by her family and by friends, both old friends and new friends.
