Audie Gene Baker, 57, of Clifton passed away on March 18, 2014, in Dallas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Rev. Wayne West officiating.
Audie was born on March 8, 1957, in Fort Worth to Benny Gene and Paula Jean (Benefield) Baker. On January 24, 1994, he married Sheila Kay Easton in Waldron, Arkansas. An avid outdoors man, he loved hunting and fishing. As a musician, he enjoyed country music and he played the guitar in several bands; the last band was Rough Country. What mattered most, were his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Jean Baker and brother, Michael Don Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Baker; father and step-mother, Benny Baker and wife, Mary; children, Charity Baker and spouse, Melissa Stalder, Crystal Benoit and husband, Matthew, Charissa Moncrief and husband, Dennis Raynes, Michael Baker, Brooklyn Baker, Grayson Lough and wife, Sunshine; brothers, Guy Bair, Shay Baker and wife, Samantha; sisters, Tianey McDaniel and spouse, Juan Ramirez, and Toi Hill and husband, Steve; grandchildren Brittany Paine, Austin Moncrief, Brianna Benoit, Zandon Baker, Caleb Benoit, Caden Benoit, Jaidyn Raynes, and Yasmine Raynes; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
