Audie Medrano

Audie Medrano, 44, of Mertens passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Baylor Medical Center in Grapevine. Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Mike Smith and Rev. Jeff Phillips officiating.

Audie was born January 10, 1969 in Salinas, CA to Joseph and Maria DeJesus (Rodriguez) Medrano. He grew up in California and lived in Texas for the past several years. Audie was employed as a loan underwriter for Bank of America in Dallas. On May 5, 2012, he and Tonya Smith Ward were married in Las Vegas, NV.

Survivors include his wife, Tonya Medrano of Mertens; mother and step-father, Maria and Francisco Orozco of Salinas, CA; son, Devon Medrano of Rowlett; three step-children, Brendon, Colton and Morgan Ward of Mertens; and 13 siblings.
