Audrey Bennett

Audrey "Hun" Bennett was the daughter of John Clarence and Motie Allie Cagle Evans and had lived in Hillsboro most of her life. On July 22, 1964, she married Dudley Andrew Bennett in Hillsboro. He preceded her in death May 12, 1978. "Hun" was a nurse for Grant Buie Hospital for 32 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, John Lloyd Evans, Franklin D. Evans; six sisters, Grace Roller, Helen English, Juanita Cliett, Judy Caufman, Dorothy Faye Drake and Christine Rose.
