Aura Jones

Aura Odle Jones, 98, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, August 15, 2005, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Aura was born May 21, 1907 in Mosheim, Texas the daughter of Curtis and Minnie Cowan Odle and grew up in Bosque County. On August 23, 1928 she married Jack Jones and he preceded her in death in 1978. For most of her adult life she lived in Fort Worth. In 1970 she moved to Whitney upon her and her husband?s retirement. She was a housewife and member of King Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney. Also preceding her in death were her parents and three sisters. Survivors include two sons, Lynn D. Jones of Midland and Glen L. Jones and wife, Joan, of Richland Hills; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
