Avonne Frazier, 86, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at a nursing home in Corsicana. Avonne was born June 30, 1923 in Hill County the daughter of the late Elbert and Johnnie Pope Toon. On December 11, 1941 she married Monroe Frazier and he preceded her in death on January 13, 2003. She lived in Hill County all of her life, mostly in Brandon, until moving to Hillsboro in 2005. Avonne loved her Lord and gave of her best to Brandon Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and led the singing for many years. Also preceding her in death were a brother, Manning Toon, and sister, Glenn Scott. Survivors include her children, Pamela Brown and husband, Ronald, of Frost and Gerald Frazier and wife, Mary, of Brandon; two brothers, John Toon of California and Ralph ?Binky? Toon of Hillsboro; brother and sister-in-law, Hooper and ?Pete? Sanders of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Chris Frazier and wife, Susan; Jamie Frazier and wife, Michele; Jody Frazier; Kyle Brown and wife, Julie; and Paige Butler; eight great-grandchildren, Aaron Frazier, Reagan Woodall, Holly Frazier, Kelsey Frazier, Ashley Frazier, Austin Frazier, Brandon Frazier, and Dustin Frazier; and a number of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
