B. H. Ralston

B. H. ?Bill? Ralston, 83, of Hillsboro died Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Providence Health Care Center in Waco. Bill was born September 24, 1922 in Ellis County, Texas, where he was raised, the son of William C. and Margaret Lou Hawks Ralston. Since 1980 he had lived in Hillsboro. On August 8, 1975 he married Katherine McCullough in Lampasas. During WWII he served in the United States Army. In 1978 he retired from Tyler Refrigeration as personnel and traffic manager after 32 years. He was a member of Sardis Methodist Church in Sardis, Texas and VFW Post #3894 in Waxahachie. Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Bobby Lee Ralston, in May of 1986; and a daughter, Barbara Lynn Young. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Ralston of Hillsboro; a son, Michael Ralston of Bonham; a step-son, W. L. Green of Waxahachie; a brother, Dr. L. W. Ralston of Jacksonville; 15 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the charity of one?s choice.
