B. J. Squier

B. J. Squier, 78, of Whitney passed away Friday, January 12, 2018, at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Born June 11, 1939 in Dallas, she was the daughter of Cecil Ovie and Alma Louise (Farmer) Cauley. After graduating from Adamson High School in Dallas, B. J. was united in marriage to John David Squier on April 1, 1956. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1993.

B. J. was a longtime resident of Whitney and an integrator in the natural gas industry. She enjoyed oil painting, needlework, and was very devoted to her dogs.

Also preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include her two children, Sharon Sue Armstrong of Granbury and Stephen Randall Squier of Euless; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
