B. J. Thomas, Sr., 53, of Aquilla died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at his residence. B. J. was born December 15, 1955 in Hillsboro the son of J. K. and Evelyn Humphreys Thomas. He enjoyed driving trucks very much. He was the owner and operator of several companies including B. J.s Tire and Wrecker in Hillsboro for 5 years. He especially loved hauling cattle. Preceding him in death was his mother, Evelyn Thomas. Survivors include his father, J. K. Thomas of Trinidad; children, Shannon Mansfield and fianc, Eric Anderson, and B. J. Thomas, Jr. and fianc, Sheila Evans, all of Aquilla, and Paula Dale Thomas of Emmhouse; brothers, J. R. Thomas and wife, Carolyn, of Centerville and Paul Wayne Thomas of Trinidad; sisters, Evelyn Ann Davis of Wortham and Mary Davis and husband, Jody, of Streetman; seven grandchildren, Kelton and Bricen Mansfield and Page and Derick Anderson all of Aquilla, and Joshua Dwayne, Jason Lee, and Jeremy Paul Evans all of Clifton.
