Baldemar T. Soliz

Baldemar Trevino "BT" Soliz, 87, was called to join our Sweet Lord, after passing away peacefully at home in the early hours of Sunday, January 9, 2022, surrounded by his family.

He was born on March 17, 1934, in Benavidez, Texas to Jose and Carolina Soliz.  A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, Texas, followed by a luncheon.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Jose and Carolina, siblings Jose Soliz Jr., Everto Soliz, Horacio "Speedy" Soliz, and his beloved grandson Nico Soliz.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years Juanita Soliz; his children Baldemar (Betty) Soliz Jr. of Austin, Texas, Norma Flores of Grand Prairie, Texas, Danny (Jean) Soliz of Ferris, Texas, Roberto Soliz of Pasadena, Texas, Raul Soliz of Longmont, Colorado, Jo Ann (Robbie) Lane of Sanger, Texas, and Jaime Soliz of Buda, Texas. He is also survived by his brother Arnoldo Soliz and his sisters Olga Mendez and Gloria Silva.

He was also loved and adored by his thirteen grandchildren and his fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He will be missed dearly by his family and his friends.
