Barbara Greene

Barbara was the daughter of Albert H. and Lydia Priebe Kunkel. She grew up and graduated high school in Bynum. Shortly after high school, she began working in medical records as a medical transcriptionist and continued that work for 50 years. Barbara was an avid fan of both the Dallas Cowboys and the University of Texas. A sports enthusiast, she took great enjoyment in attending and supporting her grandsons athletic activities. She was a very active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her father and brother, Billy Kunkel. Survivors include: mother, Lydia Kunkel of Bynum; daughter, Tammy Eastland of Hillsboro; brother, Mickey Kunkel of Bynum; and 2 grandsons, Collin and Nicholas Eastland of Hillsboro.
