Barbara Huse

Barbara Gail Huse, 71, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Providence Health Care Center in Waco. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Danny Gilliam of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro officiating. Burial will follow at Everman Cemetery in Everman. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at the funeral home.

Born January 25, 1944 in Fort Worth, she was the daughter of William Henry Taylor and Ida Mae (Bryant) Taylor. She married the love of her life, Billy Wayne Huse, Sr., on January 30, 1959 in Arlington. An active 50 year member of the Order of The Eastern Star, she had served as Past Worthy Matron of Loyal Chapter OES #648, Whitney OES #930, and Hillsboro OES #769 and Past Deputy Grand Matron of OES District 3 Section 10. Along with the OES, she was a Past President of The Social Order of Beaucant, as well as a charter member of Yellow Rose Court #4 and Supreme Council Order of the Amaranth, Inc. Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Barbara was preceded in death by both of her parents and a brother, Dwayne Taylor.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Wayne Huse, Sr. of Hillsboro; sons, Billy Wayne Huse, Jr. of Bay City and Bryan William Huse (Sharon) of DeSoto; grandchildren, Ensign, USN Clinton Dwayne Huse (Allison) of Canton and Toni Lee Cartwright (Kenneth) of Wadsworth; and great-grandchildren, Lane Michael Cartwright, Taylor Elaine Huse, Rylee Lynn Huse, and Sadie Claire Cartwright.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Beneficial Aide Fund for the OES Hillsboro #769.
