Barbara Jean (Wiedeman) Smith

Barbara Jean Smith, age 84, of Morgan, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm–8:00pm, Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, Texas.

Barbara was born on January 6, 1938, in Fort Worth, Texas, to William Carter and Adine Margaret (Savage) Wiedeman. She loved music, dancing, and the Cowboys. Barbara was a pianist for the Methodist church and was also a licensed Vocational Nurse.

Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Billy Gene Smith.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth, Tim, and Terri; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
