Biography

Barbara Molidor, 71, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Rev Larry Talbert officiating. Burial will follow at Vaughan Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, at the funeral home.

Barbara was born May 22, 1944 in Ennis, to Virgil and Edith (Coalston) Newland and was raised in Ennis. She married Jerry Molidor and he preceded her in death in 2007. As a testing administrator at Hill College, she worked at both the Johnson County and Hillsboro campuses. She enjoyed working puzzles and loved to cook.

Preceding her in death was a son, Michael Molidor in 2009.

Survivors include her children, Rick Rogers of Red Oak, Rusty Molidor of Longview, Darrell Molidor of Lancaster, and Rocky Molidor of West Virginia; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Newland of North Carolina, V.J. Newland of Corsicana, Danny Newland of Emhouse, and Davy Newland of Blooming Grove; sisters, Linda Maggard of Emhouse, Brenda Allen of Ennis, LaDonna Kristen of Waxahachie, Joan Jensen of Corsicana, and Loretta Wiese and Rita Isom, both of Emhouse.
