Barbara Polley

Barbara Jean Polley, 75, of Cleburne, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in Fort Worth. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Dr. Gerald Dudley officiating.

Barbara was born on April 10, 1939, in Fort Worth, to Morris and Mildred (Newton) Peyton.
On March 1, 1958, she married Jack E. Polley, in Fort Worth. An avid horse enthusiast, she loved to ride horses, and as a member of Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney, she enjoyed volunteering at the arena. She loved being outdoors and watching children play baseball.

Her parents, Morris and Mildred Peyton and her brother, Eddie Peyton, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Polley of Clifton; children, Janice Babcock of Murphy, David Polley of Cleburne, Jimmie Polley of Longview and Glenn Polley of Morgan; grandchildren, Heather Babcock of Cincinnati, Ohio and Kelly Polley of St. Mary’s, Georgia; a niece, Vicki Sharp of Orangeburg, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1700 Lake Success Drive, Waco, Texas 76710.
