Barbara Scott

On the 18th of October, as another beautiful Texas morning turned into day, Jesus Our Savior collected another one of His angels into His arms and carried her home to Heaven. Barbara Flo was born on the Sanderson Farm in Aquilla, Texas to Armede and Richard Wooten on the 25th day of June, 1935. Her sister, Peggy, welcomed her and they were soon joined by sister Rosalind and brothers Ronald and Michael. Together they grew up in the Whitney area. After completing High School, Barbara began a life adventure which would take her to the four corners of America-including Alaska-before bringing her back home to Whitney. She spent the last 10 years of her life there along with her loving husband Robert, countless friends, relatives and her loving, trusted Chihuahua companions Sassy and Zoe. Along her journey through life, she was blessed, and blessed the world with 8 children: sons Gary, Gregg, Mark, Scott, Troy, Erik and daughters Denise and Juli. Though she will be greatly missed by her husband, children, brothers, sisters, 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; all will rejoice, along with the Earth and Heavens, as she is once again rejoined with her Mother and Father at the right hand of Our Lord.
