Beatrice was the daughter of George and Maggie Ward Simmons. Born in Cleburne, she spent most of her early years in Hillsboro. Her father was a Sheriff's deputy and also the Sheriff of Hill County in the 1930's. After graduating from Hillsboro High School, she worked for her brother, Al Williams, who owned the Hillsboro Bakery for 40 years. Following her time at the bakery, she moved to Arlington and then Ft. Worth where she worked as a sales clerk. She later moved to Whitney to live with her sister Louise Dickerson. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Al A.F. Williams and J.V. Simmons, and niece Sharon Pauwels. She is survived by her sister, Louise Dickerson; nephews Al Dickerson and wife, Pat, and George Simmons and wife, Pam; grand nephews, Jeffrey Thomas and wife, Sarah, Joel Dickerson and wife, Kim, and Alan Dickerson and wife, Kimberley; grandnieces, Tammy Salles and husband, George, and Paulette Burnett and husband, Craig.
