Bennie Gray

Bennie F. Gray "Big Granny" passed away on May 11, 2006 om Cleburne. She was the daughter of Charles and Ora Alice Johnson Ingram. She grew up in Quanah and graduated from Quanah High School. She married Frank Giffin and he preceded her in death. On Dec. 17, 1971, she married James Gray, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1994. Bennie worked for Dillard?s department store as a buyer and manager for many years before retiring. In 1992, she moved to Whitney. She was also a member of Shriner?s Women?s Aux. Survivors include her daughter, Charlene Evans and husband, Charles of Whitney; 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren Memorials: Charity of Choice
