Bennie Mccreight

Bennie was born March 28, 1920 in Woodbury Community, Hill County, Texas to Joe Dewitt and Nettie Marie Sumner McCreight. During World War II he joined the Army and served in the European Theater. After the Army he moved back to Texas and married Nell Reynolds on June 28, 1946 and then came back to Hill County in 1947 and lived in the Hillsboro area since. For 35 years he worked at T. U. Electric. He was a member of Line Street Methodist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers, Dewitt Sumner McCreight and Gary McCreight. Survivors include wife, Nell McCreight of Hillsboro; two daughters, Donna Kitchens of Conroe and Debra Moss of Lubbock; two brothers, Joe Tom McCreight of Fort Worth and Lloyd McCreight of Waco; a sister, Joyce Cain of Hillsboro; four grandchildren; and three great grandchhildren
