Betty Jean Hinton, 82, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family Monday morning, November 11th, 2019, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Betty was born on December 28, 1936 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Jack and Ida Mae Hass. Betty married AJ Hinton on September 15, 1953 and together raised three children; Danny, Bubba, and Debbie. Betty worked as a dedicated Title Clerk for Tarrant County for 12 years. She was a member of Fort Graham Baptist Church. Betty centered her life around her faith and family. She had a Servants’s heart and touched so many with her kindness, humor, and wisdom. Betty’s hobbies included gardening, canning, and cooking for all those around her.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Ida Mae Hass. She is survived by husband of 66 years, AJ Hinton of Whitney; 3 children, Danny Hinton of North Richland Hills, Bubba Hinton of Whitney, Debbie Wooten and husband, Mike of Fort Worth; 6 grandchildren, April Bradshaw and husband Steve, Marissa Mooney and husband Brad, Chris Palmieri and wife Ariel, Josh Wooten and wife Taylor, Chris Hinton and wife Allyson, and Tiffany Broome and husband Justin; 12 great-grandchildren, Dustin, Alyssa, Cooper, Weston, Maylie, Brady, Grace, Kase, Evan, Levi, Avery and Scarlett.
While she will be greatly missed, our faith will ever remain that one day we will all be together again for eternity.
