Betty Penney

Betty Jane Penney passed away on March 8, 2005 at a Waco hospital. She was the daughter of Drew Perkins and Mary Magdalene Hall Corpier. She lived in Woodbury until graduation from high school and had lived in Whitney the rest of her life. Betty Jane was a registered nurse and had worked for Grant Buie Hospital in Hillsboro, Hillcrest Hospital and Providence Hospital in Waco. She was a member of the Woodbury Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Odell Corpier in 1944, Garland Corpier in 1980 and son, Wendell W. Penney on November 19, 1994. Survivors include her cousins, James Corpier of Clifton and Jolene Lehman of Brandon.
