Betty Jo Reeb passed away on August 9, 2005 in Blum. She was the daughter of Edward and Ethel Green Hughes. Upon retirement of her husband, Kenneth Edward Reeb, they settled in Blum where all will tell you of the contributions and the many hearts she touched. She was the City Secretary of Blum where she handled many task and obligations of reliability. As everyone knew, Betty could run things from all directions. She was awarded the Community Service Award in 2004. Betty was a giver and was loved by many, she truly made friends where ever she was. She gave so much and expected nothing in return. She had many who loved her and they will truly miss this courageous woman who gave of her heart and soul. She was a lover of birds, her animals and flowers, but what she loved the most was Christmas. For those that knew her, they looked forward to see how she would decorate for the coming year. The family would like to thank all those who prayed, sent cards, and brought food and most of all Hospice of the Heart of Whitney for their tenderness.
