Betty Stephens

Betty Stephens, 58 of Walling Bend Park died on October 1, 2005 in Whitney. A law enforcement employee for the State of Texas, Betty worked 20 years retiring in 2002. She lived most of her life in Tennessee and Texas, the past 11 years at Walling Bend Park. She married Gary Stephens on July 3, 1999 in Clifton, Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Raymond McGinnis and Dick McGinnis. Survivors include her husband, Gary Stephens of Walling Bend Park, children, Leon Smith of Memphis Tennesse; Mike Smith of Laguan Park; Matt Smith of Waco; step-daughter, Stephanie Stephens of Weatherford; one sister Mildred Spinks and husband, Ron of Hillsbro; and 6 grancchildren.
