Mr. Bill B. Coleman, 90, of Hillsboro passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 25, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Donna Ware officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at the funeral home.

Bill was born May 24, 1922 in Denton to Otis and Nona Coleman. He grew up in Fort Worth where he attended Polytechnic High School and later went on to attend Texas Tech University. During World War II, he served his country in the United States Navy. After the war, he and his father developed and operated Oak Haven Mobile Home Park in Arlington. He also began Coleman Metal Products Company.

On June 8, 1967, he married Ruth McClain and she preceded him in death on September 27, 2011. Bill and Ruth lived for many years on a ranch near Woodbury, raising Angus cattle and loving their life in the country. In 2005, they moved into Hillsboro and resided there until their passing.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro. Recently, Bill had received his 65 year pin as a 32nd degree Master Mason and was also a member of the Karem Shrine in Waco.

Also preceding him in death were his parents and a daughter, Tona Seibold.

Survivors include his son, Craig Coleman and wife, Gelia, of Pantego; grandson C. T. Coleman and wife, Lindsey, and two great-grandsons, Creek and Laithan Coleman all of Hillsboro; grandson, Wes Coleman and wife, Jennifer, of Arlington; step-daughter, Ann Thompson and husband, Bill, of Hillsboro; and two step-granddaughters, Laura Thompson of Oakland, CA and Amy Cayzer of London, England.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 673, Hillsboro, TX 76645; Scott & White Hospital, 2401 South 31st Street, Temple, TX 76508; or American Cancer Society, 1700 Lake Success Drive, Waco, TX 76710.
