Bill Van Devender

Bill Van Van Devender, 68, of Whitney passed away on June 6, 2008 in Clifton. He was the son of Everett Van Devender and Charlotte Sweeney. He grew up spending time in Idaho and Texas. He joined the Navy and moved to Texas after his military duty was over. Bill has lived in Whitney for the past 25 years and retired from Miller Brewery after 29 years. He married Jaylene Kite on July 4, 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Jaylene Van Devender of Whitney; sons, William E. Van Devender II, and Scott Van Devender of Texas , Mario James Baltierra and Mark Antonio Baltierra of Midlothian; brothers, Harry Van Devender of Vancouver, WA; stepbrothers, Buck, Chuck and Bill Mourning of Idaho; sister, Mildred McCollum of Lewiston, Idaho; nine grandchildren
