Billie Goodman

Billie Jean Goodman, 88, of Levelland passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Covenant Hospital in Levelland. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro with Rev. Leah Hidde-Gregory officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday prior to service time at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Billie Jean was born June 21, 1925 in Tooele, Utah to George Alfred and Dagna Teressa (Erickson) Smith. On December 2, 1949, she married Robert A. Goodman in Elko, Nevada and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2013. She was of the Methodist faith.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Florie Mallet; and brother, Ray Smith.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and R. H. Reaves; grandson and wife, Zach and Robyn Reaves; and great-grandchildren, Lilly Kay Reaves and Mason Austin Reaves, all of Levelland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
