Billie Schellinger

Billie Schellinger, age 93, of Hillsboro passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017, at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Old Woodbury Cemetery in Woodbury. Visitation will be prior to the service time at the cemetery.

Billie was born July 29, 1923, in Watagua, to Charlie and Thelma (Cade) Hodges. Billie was united in marriage to Irvin Schellinger on December 16, 1941 and he preceded her in death on October 24, 1996.

Also preceding her in death were her parents and a daughter, Bonnie Pope.

Survivors include her daughters, Johnnie Bankston & husband, Kenneth, of Hillsboro and Linda Williams of Lake Worth; and numerous grandchildren.
